All About You Deep Tissue Massage has been providing deep tissue massage to the residents of Boise, Nampa, and Caldwell Idaho since 2013.  Incorporating techniques from deep tissue massage, trigger-point, and Swedish Massage, Kathy Lankford formed the business to help her clients heal their bodies and feel better through deep tissue massage.  Kathy also has experience with prenatal massage.  Kathy's clients continue to rave about the massages they get from her. 

How I became a massage therapist.

 

My husband has lived life with on and off back problems. One day I was online visiting YouTube and happened across some short videos on massage technique. I watched for about an hour and then asked my husband if he would mind if I tried some of the things I saw on him and he agreed. So I had him lay across the bed and I got my bottle of hand lotion and started using the techniques I saw in the videos on him. It was difficult without a massage table. I was only able to work on him for about a half hour. When he got up from the bed I asked him how his back felt and he said "amazingly good". 

 

In the next few days I decided to purchase a massage table and another technique video. I placed the order. I hadn't received the table or video yet but began thinking. Hhhmmm what if I were to find a school that would work with my work schedule and I could learn the real way to do massage properly. Then I could not only help my husband but I could help others as well. I did find a school that would meet my criteria. Arizona School of Massage Therapy. I still worked a full time job as well as went to school. A year later I was a licensed massage therapist and the rest is history.  I greatly enjoy helping heal peoples bodies through massage therapy and hope you will come visit.
